1. About these terms
These terms apply to all orders placed through gentle-pearl.com. By placing an order you agree to them. Gentle Pearl Ltd is registered in England and Wales (No. 09245183), VAT GB 218 4519 02.
2. Pricing & payment
All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and include UK VAT at the prevailing rate. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Payment is taken at the point of order.
3. Delivery
UK orders are dispatched by Royal Mail Special Delivery (next working day, fully insured). Standard delivery is £6, free on orders over £150. International shipping is available at checkout; recipients are responsible for any local duties.
4. Returns
We offer a 30-day return policy on unworn pieces in their original packaging. Pierced earrings are non-returnable for hygiene reasons. To start a return, email [email protected]. Refunds are processed within 5 working days of receiving the returned piece.
5. Bespoke orders
Bespoke pieces, including engraved and altered items, are non-refundable unless faulty.
6. Guarantee & aftercare
Each Gentle Pearl piece carries a lifetime restringing guarantee. We will restring any necklace or bracelet originally purchased from us, free of charge, for as long as you own it. Pearls are organic; please keep them away from perfume, hairspray and household chemicals.
7. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death, personal injury, or fraudulent misrepresentation. Otherwise, our liability is limited to the value of the goods purchased.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
